Worst Indian Food in Sydey by far, First of all the navaratan kurma was burnt and smelt old and stale. $9.90 Thali portions are ridiciously small, not enoug for ur rice, let alone the naan. The waiter can hardly speak english and when asked for tamrind sauce i was given bbq sauce, when I asker her what it was, she said its a special Black sauce. like wtf is that?
The samosa was old too.
My naan came after i pretty much ate the curry with the rice. Horrible service.
When I tried to order from the menu to get something fresh. I was told the chef is not here so nothing can be cooked. Whats the point of having a menu if you chef is notgoing to be there during dinner time on a sunday.
The food was sitting the bain marie for god knows how long/days.
The curries were bland and watered down with water.
They changed the name from indian home diner to tandoori palace or something. The place went from bad to horrible. I hope they close down very soon and make room for a decent resturant.
I regret eating there, shld have gone to tamanas instead. Had to wash down the horrible taste with some coffee from GJ's.
PS. The resturant is run by bangladeshi's who really cant cook indan food.
Worst food ever! Wouldnt even feed it to my pets. Dont waste your money here!
